Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to our event on Sunday 15th March. We aim to earn your continued support by always delivering massive value and great networking, so we hope you found it a worthwhile day!
A big shout out to Keith and Anita Truman who drove down from Peterborough to attend. We salute you for your commitment to your property business!
Thank you to Adrian Standing for this testimonial:
"Thanks very much for organising yesterday's gathering. It's really refreshing to go to a property event where people give their opinions, advice, tips and experiences freely, without trying to sell you anything and where everyone reciprocates. It was well worth taking the time out on a Sunday to attend and I came away, as always, with a few golden nuggets which I can use in my business
I particularly enjoyed the session on social media, which opened my eyes to a whole new world of twittering! I took lots of notes so I shall be following up on those this week and working out how I can best use it all in my business and personal life".
Our event was broadcast live on Twitter thanks to John Corey (@john_corey). This is a first in property networking! You can follow the stream on Twitter at #4wallmtg.
Paul Henley, the valuer, gave out some interesting and optimistic information. You can contact him at paul.henley@acornsurveyors.com. We will be recording a video with him shortly which you can access at http://www.4wallsandaceiling.com/.
Please don't forget to join and contribute to propertytribes.ning.com and nicktadd.ning.com.
We can all stay connected via these forums and please list your Twitter handle at nicktadd.ning.com so that we can all follow you. John Corey has started an interesting discussion about the importance of location as a result of issues and thoughts raised at the meeting. I have also started a thread on how to be a successful networker!
I hope everyone got value from the networking. I certainly did. I had a very interesting conversation with John Corey about lease options and we will be investigating this strategy further as a way to increase our cash flow and portfolio in these challenging times.
Our next event is scheduled for the 19th April at the Holiday Inn, Egerton Road, Guildford. You can register at registration@4wallsandaceiling.com or preferably on Property Tribes by clicking here.
If there are any subjects or speakers you would like covered in our next meeting, please let me know.
Thank you all again for your continued support. You inspire us to keep moving forwards!
