Spring is in the air ... well, I'm trying to convince myself that it is ... and our thoughts turn to summer holidays.

As more and more people are seeing the opportunity to use social media for property networking and business exposure, I just thought I would share with you the little network of holiday letting friends that I have built up on Twitter. @Beside_The_Sea Richard Smith has just launched his new holiday lettings company "Beside The Sea" specialising in up-market holiday lets close to some of the U.K.'s best beaches. An experienced holiday letting Landlord himself, who has achieved above-average occupancy for his own holiday lets, Richard is setting out with new high standards and vision.
I have to say that he has a compelling and engaging brand that really stands out. It feels very aspirational, as he is becoming a central hub for information about the great British seaside - including tweeting about the best that the British coast has to offer.

If you are a Landlord with a holiday let that needs some extra exposure, I am sure Richard would be delighted to hear from you.

Wendy's company helps families find child-friendly holidays. If the kids are happy, then the parents get the chance to relax! Wendy has a lot of knowledge to share in creating a holiday let that stands out from the crowd and that appeals to the lucrative family market.
@carolbrazel
Carol is a fellow holiday let owner at WhiteSand in Camber, near Rye, E. Sussex. She owns a stunning house called "The Salty Dog", named after her canine companion. It has been helpful to connect with Carol as we can share information about our houses and bookings, and she has helped me find a Gas Safe engineer in the area.
@lettinglounge
Rachael shares advice, news, and juicy titbits for holiday home owners. A great resource for all of us.
 @holidaylettings
Kate represents Holiday Lettings - advertising holiday homes worldwide for both private owners and agents.
@cottageguru
Heather is one of my favourite overseas twitter-ers. A Brit living in Canada, she blogs about holiday lets and shares some really useful insights and information. I look forward to learning more from her in the future.

@perfectweekends
Jacqui manages our holiday let "SeaBreeze". She is incredibly knowledgeable about managing and running a successful holiday let, and she is one of the most helpful people you could wish to know!
@seabreezecamber
Our holiday let's Twitter identity! The account is run as if it's the house tweeting out information. (It's me really! :) ) I use this account to build up awareness of the house, the area, local events, and special offers and last minute bookings. It's a lot of fun and I enjoy creating a character for the house.
For further information about running a successful holiday let, we have a long running thread on our Property Tribes forum that is building up into something of a wiki! Click >>>> here.
Just a polite reminder that our first property/social media networking event is taking place in Guildford tomorrow night (27th January)!. If you would like to network with a community of committed and professional Landlords, then please click >>> here for further details and to register.
